Why Not? I hear people moan and groan all the time about having to go work on another man’s business.  I hear people cry about giving up 8 hours of their day to businesses that are only paying them enough to pay their bills and barely keep their heads above water.  I hear these same people say they cannot afford to take their kids on a nice vacation or even yet they cannot afford to take time off from work.  These same people drag themselves to work when they are sick and should be home resting. These same people are the first ones to be cut when the company downsizes and then you think about how much of your valued time you to gave the owners of the company.

Why continue on that path? I here people say that some businesses are pyramid schemes.  Did you know that all of corporate America is a pyramid?  A pyramid is when only the person at the top makes all the money, gets all the bonuses, and gets all the perks and vacations. The person at the top generally does little work and never gets fired when downsizing occurs. The people at the bottom are not appreciated, get paid little and have to beg to get time off. You end up spending 30 years on a job not being appreciated, putting in countless hours and making someone else a fortune.  Does that sound like your current job? Of course it does. I know because I have been there.

Wealth Principle #1: Conventional Wisdom Does Not Work

In order to create generational wealth, conventional wisdom does not work. On The LeaderBoard

I just wanted to make a side note in this post.  I awoke this morning to check my computer and was listed on the leader board for most signups.  I know alot of you know that is quite an accomplishment.  Also, when you are listed on the leaderboard for most signups that also means money in the bank account.  So, you may want to know how I did it.  Simply, I leveraged the power of the internet.

I know alot of you are struggling in your MLM primary business.  I know because I have been there before.  I am using an automated system that is breaking me out to a new level financially. Empowerment 2010 Pt. 2

Happy New Year to all of you.  Year 2010 is here and so is the “spirit of the entrepreneur” is here.  An entrepreneur is a person who organizes and manages any enterprise, esp. a business, usually with considerable initiative and risk.  I am an entrepreneur.  In layman’s terms, an entrepreneur is someone who finds more value in working for yourself than working for someone else.  You have to be an organized person that can manage time well.  You are an entrepreneur and your own boss so you have no one nagging you about time management.  Entrepreneurs are self starters, have iniative and are creative.  We know how to captialize on someone else’s effort.  Entrepreneurs are risk takers.  Do you know that the majority of millionaires are risk takers?  Risk takers step outside of the box, walk on thin ice, see opportunities when no one else does.  Entrepreneurs are leaders.  There are millions of people looking for strong leaders to follow.  Leaders are people who do not want to work 40 hours for 40 years and get a $40 Timex at the end of retirement.

Empowerment In 2010 Pt. 1

Year 2010 is almost here.  I have made a conscious decision as I continue on my road map of health, wealth and success is to empower those around me.  Year 2010 is going to be a year of much innovation and prosperity.  Year 2009 was a cycle of global deficit and economic instability.  However, through it all prosperity was still upon the industry I am deeply involved in. I will be mentoring and activating young visionaries and entrepreneurs in Year 2010.  I will be teaching them how to leverage themselves, brand themselves and label themselves as the next generation of leaders and world changers.

Empowerment is defined as “the ability  to enable or permit”.  So, I will be empowering these young visionaries and entrepreneurs in Year 2010. I will empower them to creativity as I have done here at www.LakeyciaJefferson.com .

My Story

I just wanted to take the time to share my story with you.  I started on a path several years ago to live life to the fullest.  My life had always been play by the rules when it came to keeping a job, doing right by others, be true to family and loved ones.  For the most part, all of this is still true.  However, about 3 years ago I met someone who had an impact on my life.  He gave me a wake up call.  He said, “Lakeycia, you know tomorrow is not promised so be a manager of your time”.  I set out on a path to do just that.  I followed the tools he gave me and within 4 months time I had a nice future and a fat bank account.  However, you know how life has turns and spins.  I found myself in the same spot again not managing my time but allowing others to manage my time for me.  So, now my motto in life is “be a manager of my own time.”  Since then, I have traveled to exotic places, eaten exotic food and slept in too many 5 star hotels to name.  I drive a Lexus and own my home and was able to come off my job at the tender age of 36.  I have one act of kindness I am extremely proud of  and that is I pray for our troops in Afghanistan, Iraq and Kuwait on a weekly basis.  I also pen pal with them by email and send care packages to them each month.

My mission in life is to others achieve dramatic success by being an encourager, motivational speaker, life design coach and business coach.  I have made the difficult choice to surround myself with eagles and leave buzzards behind.  I plan to soar to higher heights spiritually, emotionally and financially in 2010.
