I just wanted to take the time to share my story with you. I started on a path several years ago to live life to the fullest. My life had always been play by the rules when it came to keeping a job, doing right by others, be true to family and loved ones. For the most part, all of this is still true. However, about 3 years ago I met someone who had an impact on my life. He gave me a wake up call. He said, “Lakeycia, you know tomorrow is not promised so be a manager of your time”. I set out on a path to do just that. I followed the tools he gave me and within 4 months time I had a nice future and a fat bank account. However, you know how life has turns and spins. I found myself in the same spot again not managing my time but allowing others to manage my time for me. So, now my motto in life is “be a manager of my own time.” Since then, I have traveled to exotic places, eaten exotic food and slept in too many 5 star hotels to name. I drive a Lexus and own my home and was able to come off my job at the tender age of 36. I have one act of kindness I am extremely proud of and that is I pray for our troops in Afghanistan, Iraq and Kuwait on a weekly basis. I also pen pal with them by email and send care packages to them each month.
My mission in life is to others achieve dramatic success by being an encourager, motivational speaker, life design coach and business coach. I have made the difficult choice to surround myself with eagles and leave buzzards behind. I plan to soar to higher heights spiritually, emotionally and financially in 2010.
